Spellbinder’s May 2025 Card Kit Clubs – Glimmer, Stamp and Die, Embossing Folder

Each month Spellbinder’s Paper Arts releases 10 monthly membership clubs designed for die cutting, cardmaking, stamping, stitching and more.  You can pick and choose which clubs are the right fit for you, or you can get the entire set, or as they call it, the Deluxe Caboodle and get them all for a discounted price and also get a bonus gift each month.

As a Spellbinders affiliate, I receive three of these club kits each month – the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit, the Clear Stamp and Die Kit and the regular Embossing Folder kit.  (I often times order several of the other kits as well, my favorites being the Large Die and Small Die of the month.)

The Clear Stamp and Die Kit

I have to say, I love these chubby little crayons.  This month’s Clear Stamp and Die of the Month is called Crayon Creations.  You can stamp variations of crayons with faces, different wrappers, and hands and feet.  The sentiments, there are five, are super cute as well.  Perfect for the teachers or students in your lives.  The dies cut out all of the sentiments and each of the crayon variations with it’s arms and legs.  (Tip: die cut first, then stamp so that you can line up your arms and legs with the die cuts properly.)

For my card (pictured above) I stamped three chubby primary colored crayons with each of the three variations of faces.  I die cut them using the simple die (no arms and legs) and chose the sentiment “you’re the brightest crayon I know”.  I just happened to have this star print paper lying on my desk and it matched perfectly with the theme and color scheme so I used dies to cut a rectangle from the patterned paper, red cardstock and white cardstock before laying them onto a blue card front panel.

I added a single color coordinating gem to each crayon just for fun.

There are so many cute card samples using this set on the Spellbinders web site.  You can’t help but be inspired.

The Glimmer Hot Foil Kit

This months Glimmer Hot Foil Kit is gorgeous.  I love all crafty and office supply themed things and this is no exception.  It called Scribbled A Note and it’s a series of stacked pencils that can be used as is to form a full card background, or you can use the included die and die cut out the individual pencils to use however you’d like!  There’s also 5 sentiments that can be used to say various things like “Scribbled a note to say Happy Birthday” or Congrats, Hello and Thank you.  These would be perfect for an office friend or a crafty buddy!

I have 6, soon to be 8, nieces and nephews, many of whom are elementary school aged and I have so many ideas for cards to make using this month’s collections.  I am excited to celebrate their accomplishments at school.  (PS – I really want to get the stitching die of the month this month because there’s a cat!)

See you soon!

I’m pretty sure that after the last time I signed up to sell products as an “independent consultant” I said I would never sign up to do such a thing again.  It wasn’t a bad experience necessarily, but worrying about meeting minimums and me being a horrible face-to-face sales person just didn’t match up. In fact, until the actual day I signed up, I hadn’t truly considered becoming a CM Advisor.  But I was at a crop, hosted by my wonderful, lovely friend (and CM advisor) Ann, and she gave a brief spiel about what you might think about if you were considering being a CM Advisor.

Are we there yet cover image
I’ve been working on some new files for the Shellie Marie cut file shop and I’m excited to finally start adding them to the store! If you do as much travel scrapping as I do, then this is a file that’s bound to come in handy. This Are We There Yet? Cut file can be used for road trips, long travel days, international travel or even trips that weren’t even that long - they just felt like it. Customize your suitcase to match your layout or photos.  Resize for just the right fit, or if you’d like, print and cut the file and skip assembling it all together!
