Spellbinder’s March 2025 Card Kit Clubs – Glimmer, Stamp and Die, Embossing Folder

Each month Spellbinder’s Paper Arts releases 10 monthly membership clubs designed for die cutting, cardmaking, stamping, stitching and more.  You can pick and choose which clubs are the right fit for you, or you can get the entire set, or as they call it, the Deluxe Caboodle and get them all for a discounted price and also get a bonus gift each month.

As a Spellbinders affiliate, I receive three of these club kits each month – the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit, the Clear Stamp and Die Kit and the regular Embossing Folder kit.  (I often times order several of the other kits as well, my favorites being the Large Die and Small Die of the month.)

The Glimmer Kit + Stamp and Die Kit (plus Embossing Folder kit and Large Die of the Month too!)

This month I’m lumping the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit and the Clear Stamp and Die Kit together because they’re very similar.  For both kits what’s included is a collection of sentiments strips that you can stamp/foil at the same time, then cut them all out at once.  Then there are a few additional “special” stamps and foil plates that you can stamp and foil individually that coordinate with the strips.  I’ll insert an image below so you can see what I mean.

These are PERFECT for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day as well as birthday’s and other celebrations for your entire family including brothers, sisters, sons and daughters, grandparents and best friends.  There are several that could be used for your partner or significant other as well.  I love being able to make a lot of sentiments all at one time because sentiments are where I usually get stumped at the end of my card making project.  (I have a bad habit of finishing my card and then realizing… I never put a sentiment on it at all.  Duh.)

These sets are essential additions to your card making stash because they can be used again and again.  Really great sets.

Here is the We Are All Family Glimmer Hot Foil Kit with 12 strip sentiments and three individual foiled sentiments that say Dad, Mom and Mum.  There is a single die that cuts out all of the strip sentiments at once.

The Clear Stamp (with or without Dies) is called Nearest and Dearest and similar to the foil kit, it stamps 20 strip sentiments (10 each set) and then 5 individual add on special sentiments that coordinate with those strips, Daughter, Son, Mom, Mum and Dad.  If you buy the coordinating dies, then you can cut the strips out in batches (two sets of 10 each) and the special sentiments individually.

For my cards this month I made two cards.  I made them on two different days and apparently I wasn’t paying attention and used nearly the same sentiments for both!  One stamped and one foiled.  I started each one with this months Embossing Folder of the Month called Mosaic Memories.  This embossing folder reminds me of damask wallpaper or mosaic tiles (as implied by the name, LOL)

For my first card I used a piece of pale blue card stock in my Mosaic Memories Embossing folder and then ink blended lightly over the top to bring out the pattern.  I also used florals from a previous Large Die of the Month kit from January of 2023 called Club Blooms (still available on the Spellbinders web site! – as of the writing of this) and added my sentiments to the top.  I used the Clear Stamp and Die kit on this card.  I like this card but kind of wish I’d left off that light pink strip of scalloped paper.  Then, as usual, I added a few Color Essentials Gems to finish off the card.

For my second card (pictured at the top of this post), I used the Mosaic Memories embossing folder again, this time on pale teal card stock.  I wanted the pattern to be subtle, just to add a bit of texture to the background, so I did not ink blend on it this time.  I then used the March Family & Friends Vignettes Large Die of the Month club kit to create the focal point.  This set comes with an arched frame die set and then a variety of things you can add to it that can coordinate with all those family and friends sentiments you’ll have if you get the Glimmer or Clear Stamp kits this month.  There are florals, a puppy who has a hat and some slippers or a cute little dinosaur who can (if you so choose) wear a tutu and a crown.

I was making (another) card for my mother for Mother’s Day and so I chose the florals.  I used a teal and white patterned paper for the bottom layer of my frame and then white for the center.  Then I cut the florals from teal and purple color essentials cardstock.  I used pop up squares to adhere my florals to the frame and then added my sentiment from the Glimmer Hot Foil kit this month.  Of course, I finished with my bling using the Color Essentials Gems again because I love them.  These were in the color Aquamarine.

So those were the cards I created using this month’s kits.  I love adding these sentiments to my stash because they can be used again and again.  I also bought the Small Die of the Month for this month and still want to use it to make my Father’s Day card for this year.  I need to get on it.

Looking forward to seeing what next month’s card kits will be!

See you next month!

I’m pretty sure that after the last time I signed up to sell products as an “independent consultant” I said I would never sign up to do such a thing again.  It wasn’t a bad experience necessarily, but worrying about meeting minimums and me being a horrible face-to-face sales person just didn’t match up. In fact, until the actual day I signed up, I hadn’t truly considered becoming a CM Advisor.  But I was at a crop, hosted by my wonderful, lovely friend (and CM advisor) Ann, and she gave a brief spiel about what you might think about if you were considering being a CM Advisor.
