Home Again – July Life Sketch Part 2

I’m back with the second half of my layouts for July (Yes, I know it’s August.)

Just to recap, these are layouts 4, 5 and 6 for the July “Life Sketch” subscription kit from Scrapbooking Life. My theme for the series is “things that feel like home”. Here is a link to my original post.

My favorite spots in my house and my best pal McGee are featured in layout D.

My parents an my grandmothers are featured in layout E.

I haven’t found the right photos yet for layout F but they will include my brothers and their wives. I have to do a bit of searching to find the right pictures and then I will add them to this layout.

I really loved this collection kit and working with this project in July.

I’m already well into my August kits and will share them very soon.

I am now a Creative Memories Independent Advisor

I’m pretty sure that after the last time I signed up to sell products as an “independent consultant” I said I would never sign up to do such a thing again. It wasn’t a bad experience necessarily, but worrying about meeting minimums and me being a horrible face-to-face sales person just didn’t match up. In fact, until the actual day I signed up, I hadn’t truly considered becoming a CM Advisor. But I was at a crop, hosted by my wonderful, lovely friend (and CM advisor) Ann, and she gave a brief spiel about what you might think about if you were considering being a CM Advisor.

I’ve been working on some new files for the Shellie Marie cut file shop and I’m excited to finally start adding them to the store! By the Sea – “Life Sketch” August 2020 Part 1

This month I challenged myself to make 2 layouts that didn't use the "nautical" elements, but instead chose "beach" themed pieces and made two spreads about a visit to Pensacola Beach. This helped me consider how to use the collection in a non-obvious way.
