The Poets Garden Collection by Susan Tierney Cockburn is a new flower collection that makes three gorgeous flowers that can be used on cards or other paper crafting projects.
As an affiliate of Spellbinders, I received these dies and will be sharing project made using them this week. The first I’ll be sharing today is the Clematis Poet. This die set includes 7 cutting dies and makes a beautiful 3-dimensional flower.
This is the first of these collection of dies that I’ve tried so I went into this without the appropriate tools and shaping forms but with the help of the video on how to color and assemble these flowers, I was able to use items from my desk to make this card using these beautiful flowers.
I used inks (Distress Inks and Hero Arts Inks) to ink blend the blue and purple petals and green leaves. The instructions were easy to follow and I really love the results.
These dies release today, January 10th, along with the rest of the collection at the Spellbinders web site.
For this card I also used a Spellbinders die set for the border, Color Essentials Cardstock and Color Essentials Gems in Sapphire.
